Henna Cultivation
Temperature for Growth
Henna generally grows in semi dried regions; climatic temperature of 20 degrees and above is suitable for the shrub's cultivation and growth. It will not grow in moist and regions receiving high rainfall.

Period for Growth
The entire shrub grows in a span of 5 years with the right climatic conditions. It starts bearing fruits and flowers after 3-4 years of cultivation. The flowers are collected in clusters once a year.

Germination Process
The germination process is slow, seeds are sown in March end or the beginning of April. The plants can separately potted after germination, it requires enough watering from time to time. There are normally no pests affecting the plant, so it is easy to cultivate and grow henna. It requires small quantities of fertilizers.
