Henna Application on Hands
- Choosing the right quality henna is very important for making
colored designs and temporary tattoos.
- Finely powdered henna without any foreign material is a must for
applying on hands. Sieve the henna through a muslin cloth for best
results
- Make a thick consistency paste and fill it in a henna cone, made
from plastic sheet.
- Apply henna on hands by firmly holding the cone, it will require
some practice, before one can put it accurately
Henna Application on Hair
Natural henna is the best option of not only conditioning your hair
but also coloring hair. It is sometimes mixed with natural additives
like coffee powder or tea water for a darker color.
- Make a thick paste of henna and leave it overnight
- Add curd in the paste for extra conditioning
- Do not wash your hair before henna application
- Apply the paste with a brush, so as to not spoil your hands
- Do not remove the paste from hair for 2-4 hours depending on the
kind of coloring desired.
- Wear a cap to help the paste from dripping
- Rinse hair with water but do not shampoo it.
- Apply coconut or mustard oil for strengthening the color
